The Pub

The Anchor Inn is a traditional pub dating back to the 17th century. It is superbly situated in the centre of Old Burbage Village, in the conservation area near to the Horsepool.

In the short time that we have had the pub we have completely refurbished it. We realised that we could create something different by basing the décor around its unusual name (for the Midlands!) We have had a lot of fun scouring boat jumbles and yards in order to give The Anchor its nautical theme. It is now affectionately known by the locals as "The Yacht Club"!

The Beer

We pride ourselves on being a traditional cask ale led pub, offering Marstons Pedigree and Bitter. In addition we always have two guest ales on tap, along with Peroni, Kronenburg, Carling and Stella 4, numerous ciders and Guinness in both ordinary and extra cold. We also offer a wide range of fine wines and spirits.

Events

We are a live music pub, playing regular host to a variety of bands. There are performance from singers on Saturday nights a couple of times each month and the last Thursday of every month is Open Mike Night, which is becoming increasingly popular. During the winter months we hold pub quizzes on Sunday nights. Visit our facebook page for upcoming events - click here
